Hatha Yoga with Patricia:
My class is a mixture of styles. I like to break down yoga poses into steps or options and you can decide what step you are on today or what option you would like to take. I couple this with a simple approach to breathing practices that you can fit into your everyday life. My classes are designed to work on your mobility, strength, balance and help release tension from the body.
Patricia’s Background & Experience:
I started practising yoga over 20 years ago. As my passion for yoga grew I decided to train to become a Hatha Yoga instructor, qualifying in 2004 with Yoga Therapy Ireland (YTI). I later qualified as a Yoga Therapist to specialise in helping people manage specific health issues. As part of my continuous development I also trained with international teachers, such as, Tanya Fitzpatrick in Somatics, Zoe Knott specialising in Yoga for Strength and Julie Gudmested the Therapeutic Application of Yoga, all of whom helped to broaden my knowledge and understanding of Yoga. I offer one-to-one sessions for people experiencing stiffness and pain.
I specialise in working with ‘the breath’ to restore balance to the mind while revitalising the body. All my clients enjoy the many health benefits yoga has to offer, from young teenagers to the elderly. I’m delighted to have joined the team at studio 3 Naas.
